Liebe DGG, empfehlen Sie die Erkl\u00e4rung gegen den Krieg der WAS.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fassungslos stehen wir als DGG neV vor der politischen Realit\u00e4t eines nicht mehr f\u00fcr m\u00f6glich gehaltenen Krieges. Die Zerst\u00f6rung von Hab und Gut, von Menschenleben und das unvorstellbare Leid von Unschuldigen, davon ein Gro\u00dfteil Kinder und Frauen. Sie sind es insbesondere, die die \u00dcbergriffe von unkontrollierter Macht erdulden m\u00fcssen. Das muss nicht sein. Und es muss unverz\u00fcglich aufh\u00f6ren. Wir k\u00e4mpfen mit f\u00fcr die allumfassende Geltung der Menschenrechte:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201eDie Arbeit der DGG, innerhalb des Dachverbandes WAS, war schon immer darauf ausgerichtet, Frieden, Demokratie und Gerechtigkeit durch die Anerkennung, F\u00f6rderung und Verteidigung von Menschenrechten im Zusammenhang mit Sexualit\u00e4t, sexueller Gesundheit und Rechten zur Erf\u00fcllung unserer Vision zu erreichen: Sexuelle Gesundheit und Rechte f\u00fcr ALLE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sexuelle Rechte basieren auf der angeborenen Freiheit, W\u00fcrde und Gleichheit aller Menschen, einschlie\u00dflich der Verpflichtung zum Schutz vor Schaden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frauen, M\u00e4dchen, Jugendliche, LGBTQIA+-Personen, Menschen mit Behinderungen und andere marginalisierte und vertriebene Bev\u00f6lkerungsgruppen geh\u00f6ren oft zu den am st\u00e4rksten gef\u00e4hrdeten Personen in bewaffneten Konflikten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WAS ist solidarisch mit ALLEN Menschen, die aufgrund der bewaffneten Aggression gegen die Ukraine um ihr Leben und unn\u00f6tiges Leid gef\u00e4hrdet sind, und bedauert und verurteilt die Verletzung des V\u00f6lkerrechts, die dieser Krieg mit sich bringt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WAS unterst\u00fctzt die Forderung der Resolution der UN-Generalversammlung nach einer \u201esofortigen friedlichen L\u00f6sung des Konflikts zwischen der Russischen F\u00f6deration und der Ukraine durch politischen Dialog, Verhandlungen, Vermittlung und andere friedliche Mittel\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WAS bekr\u00e4ftigt, dass die Gesundheit, einschlie\u00dflich der sexuellen Gesundheit, eine vorrangige S\u00e4ule aller staatlichen und humanit\u00e4ren Ma\u00dfnahmen in Konfliktsituationen bleiben muss, wobei das Gesundheitspersonal gesch\u00fctzt und die Gesundheitsdienste sicher und f\u00fcr alle zug\u00e4nglich sein m\u00fcssen, die grundlegende medizinische Dienste ben\u00f6tigen, einschlie\u00dflich derjenigen, die damit konfrontiert sind der Krise und denen, die in anderen L\u00e4ndern Zuflucht suchen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WAS fordert insbesondere die uneingeschr\u00e4nkte Achtung der F\u00f6rderung und Verteidigung von sexueller Gerechtigkeit und Menschenrechten im Zusammenhang mit Sexualit\u00e4t, die in verbindlichen internationalen Vertr\u00e4gen verankert sind.“<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OFFICAL WAS STATEMENT AGAINST WAR<\/strong>
„The work of WAS has always been aimed at the achievement of peace, democracy and justice through the recognition, promotion and defence of human rights associated with sexuality, sexual health and rights for the fulfilment of our vision: Sexual Health and Rights for ALL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sexual rights are based on the inherent freedom, dignity, and equality of all human beings including a commitment to protection from harm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Women, girls, adolescents, LGBTQIA+ people, people living with disabilities, and other marginalized and displaced populations are often among the most vulnerable in armed conflicts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WAS stands in solidarity with ALL the people at risk for their life and unnecessary suffering due to the armed aggression against Ukraine and deplores and condemns the violation of international law that this war involves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WAS supports the call of the UN General Assembly Resolution for the ‚immediate peaceful resolution of the conflict between the Russian Federation and Ukraine through political dialogue, negotiations, mediation and other peaceful means.‘<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WAS affirms that health, including sexual health, must remain a priority pillar of any state and humanitarian action in conflict situations, with health workers being protected, and health services being safe and accessible to all who need essential medical services, including those who are facing the crisis and those who are seeking refuge in other countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WAS particularly demands full respect for the promotion and defence of sexual justice and human rights associated with sexuality enshrined in binding international treaties.“<\/p>\n\n\n\n

International Women\u2019s Day
WAS supports UN Women’s theme for this year’s International Women\u2019s Day, (IWD 2022): Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The year 2022 is pivotal for achieving gender equality in the context of climate change and environmental and disaster risk reduction, which are some of the greatest global challenges of the twenty-first century. Without gender equality today, a sustainable future, and an equal future remains beyond our reach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s United Nations‘ IWD observance is in recognition and celebration of the women and girls who are leading the charge on climate change adaptation and response, and to honour their leadership and contribution towards a sustainable future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
