Information of DGG German Society for Sexuality Education: „Ein weiteres wichtiges Thema für den Fakultativen Unterricht im Rahmen der Unterrichtsverpflichtung für schulische Sexualbildung“, Linus Dietz, DGG.
As President of the World Association for Sexual Health (WAS), I am reaching out to you on this significant date in the global calendar, 7th April, World Health Day, organised by our most important global partner: The World Health Organization (WHO).
WHO has announced that the theme this year is „Our Planet, Our Health,“ which is particularly poignant at this critical time in our world. We stand by the WHO to reimagine a world where clean air, water and food are available to all. Where economies are focused on health and well-being. And where cities are liveable and people have control over their health and the health of the planet. We believe that such a world will be the ideal environment to realise our vision: Sexual Health and Rights for ALL.
Our planet, our health is a video about the interconnectedness between human health and that of the planet. In the midst of a pandemic, a polluted planet, increasing diseases like cancer, asthma, heart disease WHO is focusing global attention on urgent actions needed to keep humans and the planet healthy and foster a movement to create societies focused on well-being.
That is all for today, except to thank you for your continued commitment to supporting global health. Your support enables us to continue advocating for sexual rights, justice and pleasure for ALL.
With thanks,
Elna Rudolph
President of the World Association for Sexual Health
